One of the main challenges in battery development is finding suitable anode materials. Conventional anode materials, such as graphite, have limited capacity and poor performance at high charging rates. Therefore, researchers are actively exploring new anode materials to improve battery performance.

Silicon-based anode material has been a hot research topic in the field of battery materials in recent years. Silicon-based anode material is a kind of anode material for lithium-ion battery, which uses silicon as the main active material. Its working principle is that during the charging process, lithium ions are released from the positive electrode material and pass through the electrolyte to the surface of the silicon-based anode material, where they react with the silicon alloy to form a lithium-rich layer. During the discharging process, the lithium ions are released from the lithium-rich layer and pass through the electrolyte back to the positive electrode material.

Compared with traditional graphite anode material, silicon-based anode material has higher specific capacity and energy density, as well as better cycling performance. It can provide a high capacity and long cycle life for lithium-ion battery, which is very suitable for electric vehicles and high-power battery applications.
